Multi‑Trade Operative

Location: Central Region
Contract: Permanent (following 6‑month probation)
Salary: £15.00 – £18.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Standard hours with paid overtime & on‑call rota

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Multi‑Skilled Carpenter / Multi‑Trade Operative to deliver general maintenance and internal refurbishment works across healthcare, education, commercial, retail, and public-sector environments.
Key Duties:
* Carpentry, plaster patching, and general building maintenance
* Reactive and planned maintenance using PDA / tablet systems
* Diagnosing building faults and carrying out effective repairs
* Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety
* Providing excellent customer service
* Working independently and as part of a mobile maintenance team
Requirements:
* Recognised trade qualification (minimum NVQ Level 2)
* Valid CSCS card
* Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
* IT‑literate (PDA / tablet use essential)
* Strong Health & Safety awareness
* DBS check required (Enhanced on commencement)
Desirable (training provided if needed):
* Asbestos Awareness
* First Aid
* IPAF / PASMA
* Working at Height & Manual Handling
