Contract: Full Time, Temporary (until July 2026)

MEA Central High School, part of the Prospere Learning Trust, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and dedicated Teacher of Music to join their vibrant and ambitious team on a full-time temporary contract until July 2026.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate music educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will:

Deliver high-quality, engaging music lessons that inspire creativity and confidence

Plan and implement a broad and ambitious music curriculum

Lead and contribute to extra-curricular music activities, including ensembles, performances and school productions

Monitor and support student progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and the Trust

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for music education

Demonstrates high expectations for all students

Is committed to inclusive practice and raising achievement

Works collaboratively and contributes to a supportive team culture
