Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years practitioner looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse / Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting on a maternity cover basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting young children during a crucial stage of their development within a supportive and engaging environment.
About the Role
You will:
* Take responsibility for a group of part-time nursery children, ensuring their care, learning, and development needs are met
* Support across the wider nursery classroom to maintain a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment
* Assist with observations, planning, and daily nursery routines
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality early years provision
Essential Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent)
* Significant experience within a nursery or early years setting
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Ability to support both educational and care needs of young children
* A team player who can also work independently when required
