Apply NowProspero Teaching are working with a welcoming and supportive nursery in Birkenhead who are looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader / Nursery Teacher to join their early years team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated early years professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading a nursery room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and develop.
The Role:
Leading the day-to-day running of a nursery room
Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing
Carrying out observations and maintaining accurate development records
Supporting and guiding nursery staff within the room
Building positive relationships with parents and carers
Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all timesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ or equivalent) or higher
Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
Room leader experience desirable but not essential
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's early developmentProspero Teaching Offer:
