An opportunity to join a well established Leicester based engineering business in an Offline CNC Milling Programmer position. You will join a small team of offline programmers working on a range of projects across multiple sectors

Offline CNC Milling Programmer Responsibilities:

Programming of 3-5 axis CNC milling machines on a range of projects
Create and edit programs using Heidenhain (Online)
Offline programming using EdgeCAM software or equivalent (Fusion 360, MasterCAM etc.)
Work from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
Quality measuring devices experience (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Offline CNC Milling Programmer Experience:

Around five years’ experience machining complex components
Skilled with Heidenhain controls (Desirable)
Offline CAD/CAM programming (EdgeCam Desirable)
Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail
