Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Technician with Overhead Line (OHL) experience to support a range of ongoing power transmission projects. This is a 6-month contract position working within a project delivery environment on multiple infrastructure schemes.
The role will involve producing and updating CAD drawings for overhead line works while supporting engineering and construction teams across various project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and update CAD drawings for OHL transmission projects
Support engineering teams with technical drafting and drawing updates
Ensure drawings align with project specifications and construction requirements
Work across multiple concurrent infrastructure projects
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to maintain accurate design documentation
Requirements
Proven experience working as a CAD Technician within OHL / power transmission projects
Background working with construction contractors or EPC environments
