Operations Manager - The Details
Salary circa £50,000, depending on experience
Company pension scheme
Annual management bonus linked to company performance

Experience in operations or manufacturing management
Background in food, supplements, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals or wider FMCG manufacturing
Experience improving production processes and operational efficiency
Strong understanding of production planning and performance management
Experience introducing KPIs and improving ways of working
A proactive approach with the ability to identify and implement change
Strong leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills
Knowledge of relevant quality and manufacturing standards Operations Manager - Responsibilities
Oversee manufacturing operations and support the smooth running of production
Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and output
Improve production planning, resource utilisation and delivery performance
Introduce and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing activities
Develop effective systems and processes to support future business growth
Work closely with teams across production, quality and supply chain
Support the development of the wider operations team and management structure
Help drive improvements across multiple manufacturing sites
Ensure operational activities meet required quality, safety and customer standards
Take ownership of projects and see improvements through from implementation to results
