An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the on-site maintenance operations at a high-profile commercial facility in South West London. This role offers a strong mix of technical oversight, team leadership, and client interaction within a well-structured and professional environment.
What you'll do:
Oversee the delivery of all hard FM services across HVAC, electrical and plumbing maintenance.
Ensure PPMs and reactive maintenance are completed within agreed service levels and performance targets.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effective service delivery.
Carry out regular site inspections and audits to maintain high operational standards.
Lead and manage a team of engineers, supporting performance, development, and day-to-day operations.
Promote a "right first time" approach to minimise repeat works and improve efficiency.
Ensure safe systems of work are in place, including oversight of risk assessments and method statements.
Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure all documentation is updated within CAFM systems.
Provide regular reporting on site performance, compliance, and overall service delivery. What you'll bring:
Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior supervisory role within facilities management or building services.
Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and general building services systems.
Experience managing teams, contractors, and service delivery within a commercial environment.
Good understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
