We are currently looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team on an upcoming project in Sheffield.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and professional individual with good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparing surfaces prior to painting and decorating
Painting walls, ceilings, doors, frames and other surfaces
Applying emulsion, gloss and other finishes
Filling, sanding and carrying out preparation work
Wallpapering and general decorating duties where required
Ensuring a high-quality finish is achieved
Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
Working safely and following site procedures

Requirements

Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
Good knowledge of preparation and painting techniques
High standard of workmanship
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of site health & safety
Relevant qualifications/tickets are advantageous but not essential
