GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are proud to be partnered with a specialist property law expert located in Hereford. We are supporting their recruitment for a Paralegal to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.
This position is working Monday – Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm and can offer an immediate start.
Ideally, candidates will demonstrate at least 6-12 months in a similar role with an understanding of conveyancing processes.
Main Duties:
* Supporting solicitors and conveyancers on residential property transactions.
* Opening files and completing client onboarding, including ID and AML checks.
* Preparing contract packs and requesting searches.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
* Drafting standard legal documents and correspondence.
* Assisting with exchange and completion.
* Preparing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
* Maintaining accurate electronic and paper files.
* Ensuring compliance with SRA and Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) requirements.
Essential Skills:
* Previous residential conveyancing experience (typically 1+ years).
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions.
