Payroll Business Partner
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. To effectively support and deliver employee transactional processes.
2. To contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of processes by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and introduce best practice within Employee Services.
3. To ensure that transactional processes carried out are undertaken in line with documented procedures.
4. To receive and validate time sheet and sickness information, calculations of annual leave, whilst ensuring compliance with conditions of service.
5. To provide advice as an expert on HMRC and PAYE matters.
6. To build and maintain successful internal and external relationships.
7. To demonstrate and promote a sense of customer focus, which is reflected in all duties.
8. To develop working relationships and communicate effectively with associated pension funds.
9. Produce Written Statement of Particulars and variation letters in line with Employment Law.
10. Assist with the training of new and junior colleagues.
11. Ensure a prompt response to manager / employee queries.
12. To undertake such additional duties as are reasonably commensurate with the level of this post.
