Payroll Officer
The business will offer open plan working environment, onsite parking and discount gym membership. Reporting directly to the payroll manager, who encourages development and on the job training.
Duties
• Prepare and process weekly and monthly payroll
• Process all aspects of the payroll, including HMRC starter checklists and P45s
• Statutory Payments – SMP, SSP, SPP, ShPP, SAP
• Chasing timesheets
Person Spec
• Experience with PAYE and CIS
• Ability to calculate manual tax, NI and Pension
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident to deal with pay queries and liaise with third parties
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate Excel – Pivot tables and lookups
