💰 £16.00 – £18.50 per hour (DOE)
🕒 Monday – Friday | 08:30 – 16:30 | Day Shift
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipe Welder / Pipe Fitter to join our client based in Sheffield (S9).
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality fabrication work and enjoys working on a variety of bespoke and production-based projects within a busy workshop environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
*
Fabricating and fitting pipework to drawings, isometrics, and schematics
*
TIG/MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework
*
Cutting, bending, threading, and assembling pipe systems
*
Carrying out tack welding, full welds, and finishing work to a high standard
*
Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and effectively
*
Working to tight tolerances while maintaining high quality standards
*
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans
*
Supporting wider fabrication tasks within the workshop when required
*
Carrying out measurements and adjustments to ensure accurate fit-up
🧰 Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, Pipe Fitter, or similar fabrication role
*
Strong TIG and/or MIG welding experience (coding beneficial but not essential)
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and isometrics
*
Experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel pipework
*
Good understanding of fabrication processes, tolerances, and workshop safety
*
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*
Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing high-quality work
