PM Shift Warehouse Operative (Monday - Friday), Wellingborough NN8 4FU
Salary -£31,671 per annum with 30 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
Full Time, Permanent, 40 hour week, plus overtime at time and a half
Working Hours – 11am – 8pm (Monday - Friday)
We are a busy Paper Merchant looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in our PM warehouse operation within our Wellingborough branch.
As you can imagine within a busy warehouse environment, the Warehouse Operative role is physically demanding, requiring manual handling and heavy lifting in addition to climbing in and out of our MHE. As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for preparing customer orders, ensuring high pick accuracy, maintaining high safety standards, and working as part of a small, dedicated team to meet performance targets.
This is a physically demanding hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment where you work to deadlines and KPI's.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily warehouse activities (picking, dispatch, loading trailers)
* Maintain stock accuracy
* Ensure health & safety compliance
* Work closely with the warehouse management team to meet targets
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Previous warehouse experience
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Good IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems
* Forklift licence (Counterbalance/Flexi), refresher training available internally
