Flexible / Supply Work Across the South West
Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education agency, specialising in SEND placements. We are currently recruiting PMLD Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, supply basis across specialist SEN schools in the South West.
This is a rewarding role supporting children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties in safe, nurturing environments.
The Role
Support pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting and mobility
Facilitate sensory learning and communication (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC)
Follow EHCPs and support therapeutic interventions
Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staffOpportunities Available
Flexible, day-to-day supply work
Full-time and part-time options
Longer-term and potential permanent roles
Ongoing support and CPD opportunitiesThe Ideal Candidate
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/PMLD
Comfortable with personal care responsibilities
