£15.50 per hour | Permanent | Perry Barr | Monday–Thursday

A well-established engineering manufacturer in Perry Barr is looking for an experienced Power Press Setter for a permanent position.

Duties

* Set and operate mechanical power presses

* Change and fit press tools

* Set press stroke, tooling and material feeds

* Read engineering drawings

* Check components using verniers and other measuring equipment

* Make adjustments to tooling and presses

* Carry out tool changes between jobs

* Move materials and finished components around the factory

* Use a counterbalance forklift

* Some driving duties

Requirements

* Previous Power Press Setting experience

* Good experience changing and setting press tools

* Mechanical engineering background

* Able to read engineering drawings and work to tolerances

* Counterbalance forklift experience

Hours

Monday–Thursday, 6:30am–4:00pm
36 hours per week
30-minute unpaid lunch break

A permanent position with a four-day working week in Perry Barr.
