The Role – Key Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners
Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform planning and next steps
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of a diverse cohort
Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to maximise pupil outcomes
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Contribute to the wider school community, including clubs, trips, and eventsSEN & Inclusion Focus
This role requires a strong commitment to inclusion. You will:
Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech & language, and SEMH
Implement adaptive teaching strategies to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum
Work collaboratively with the SENCo and external professionals
Deliver targeted interventions and support individual learning plans
Promote a nurturing classroom environment that supports both academic and emotional development
