We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated and adaptable Year 3 Primary Teacher to join one of our excellent partner schools in the heart of Stafford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced primary teacher to experience life within a lovely Stafford school on a temporary, supply basis. The role will be a longer-term role.
Your duties will include delivering engaging and enriching lessons to a high standard in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum. As a Year 3 Primary Teacher you should foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, helping pupils to develop their skills in literacy, numeracy and across the wider curriculum. You will also be expected to adapt quickly to a new school setting building strong, trusting relationships with the parents, staff and pupils. At all times, you will be expected to maintain high standards of teaching and demonstrate confidence and boundaries when managing behaviour.
The role includes:
Full teaching, planning, marking and assessing responsibilities due to the post being a longer-term role.
Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
The ability to quickly create a positive and engaging learning environment for all learners.
Supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2 and encourage independence over their learning.What are we looking for:
An experienced Primary Teacher, ideally with KS2 experience, who's committed to supporting pupils.
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills; confident in managing behaviour, establishing clear routines and maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom.
The ability to plan engaging, enriching lessons in line with school policies and the National Curriculum. Planning responsibilities are dependent on school and the length of the post.
Somebody who has a genuine passion for supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
Somebody who holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.Pay: £130 - £169 a day (dependent on experience). Holiday pay is included in the day rate. Pay will be negotiated depending on the level of responsibility expected, with potential for higher rates.
