An established and growing building services consultancy in Liverpool is looking to appoint a Principal Electrical Design Engineer as part of the continued growth of its M&E design team.
The consultancy delivers mechanical, electrical and public health design across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education and industrial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and increasing project responsibility, this role offers an opportunity to take a lead position within the electrical discipline and play a key role in delivering complex building services projects.
The Role
You will lead electrical design across multiple projects while supporting the development of junior engineers within the team.
Responsibilities include:

Leading electrical design across building services projects
*
Managing project delivery through all RIBA design stages
*
Providing technical leadership within the electrical discipline
*
Liaising with clients, architects and contractors
*
Ensuring designs comply with UK regulations and industry standards
Requirements
*
Extensive experience in electrical building services design
*
Experience delivering projects within a consultancy environment
*
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards
*
Chartered or working towards chartership desirable
