Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:30

The Role:

Our client is looking for a Production Assistant to join their manufacturing team. You will be responsible for building and assembling equipment to production schedules, ensuring high quality standards throughout. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical, technical work and takes pride in producing quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build finished products and sub-assemblies to production schedules

* Wiring and soldering of electronic components

* Testing assembled units to quality standards

* Configuring PCs and setting up radio channels

* Once trained, calibrating completed units ready for dispatch

* Maintaining a clean and organised work area

* Following health and safety procedures

* Flagging any quality issues or production delays

Essential:

* Practical, hands-on approach with good manual dexterity

* Experience with wiring, soldering or electronics assembly

* Ability to follow technical instructions and work to specifications

* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Reliable and able to work to deadlines

* Comfortable using PCs and basic software

Desirable:

* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

* Knowledge of electronic testing equipment

Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (3 days reserved for Christmas closure)

Full training provided on our products and calibration processes

Office-based role in Banbury with a friendly, supportive team
