About You
* Apprenticeship trained (machining bias), qualified to HNC/HND level in Mechanical or Production Engineering
* At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of 4 & 5 axis machining and CNC lathes
* Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Comfortable managing projects and working across multiple departments
* Strong communication skills, able to work with production, engineering, and wider teams
* Commutable to Middleton
About the Role
* Provide engineering support across all areas of production
* Identify and implement improvements to process capability and yield
* Create routings, BOMs, costings, and process specifications
* Provide technical input on tooling, fixtures, and programming
* Work with systems including SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, and SAP
