JDR Recruitment are partnering with a leading manufacturer in Kirkby-in-Ashfield to recruit experienced Production Operatives to join their team. These roles are temporary‑to‑permanent opportunities, offering a permanent contract after successful completion of training (based on performance, attendance, and conduct).
Key Responsibilities:
Operating machinery and equipment in line with production requirements
Handling and mixing raw materials according to strict safety protocols
Monitoring production processes and recording data
Performing quality checks and reporting any issues
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Running the line/covering supervisor as and when neededRequirements:
A minimum of 1 year production experience
Previous experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment - some heavy lifting will be required of up to 25kg Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7.00am - 3.30pm, Friday 7.00am - 2.30pm
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour
