Production / Assembly Operative

Location: Wrexham
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 08:00–16:45 | Friday, 08:00–14:00
Contract: Temporary, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production / Assembly Operative to join a well-established company based in Wrexham.

The successful candidate will be working with electrical components as part of the assembly and production process. A key part of the role will involve soldering, so previous experience in this area would be highly beneficial, although training may be available for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or assembly experience who is looking to develop their skills and progress within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Assembling electrical components to the required standards

Soldering components accurately and safely

Following production and assembly instructions

Carrying out work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Maintaining quality standards throughout the production process

Working as part of a team to meet production targets

Following all company health and safety procedures

Key Requirements

Previous experience in a production, assembly or manufacturing environment

Experience working with electrical components would be advantageous

Previous soldering experience is desirable

Excellent attention to detail and a precise approach to work

Ability to follow instructions and work to set procedures

Good team-working skills

A willingness to learn and develop new skills

Reliable and committed approach to work
