Hales Group are recruiting for a skilled and technically minded Production Technician to join a leading manufacturing business in Beccles. About the role
You’ll play a key part in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, working closely with the Shift Manager and wider team.
Key responsibilities
Set up and prepare production runs (including tool and colour changes)
Operate and monitor machinery to maintain output and efficiency
Carry out equipment safety checks and complete documentation
Inspect products against quality standards
Identify and resolve issues to maintain a zero-defect approach
Support team performance and production targets
Maintain high housekeeping standards (6S)
Follow all health & safety procedures
What we’re looking for
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong mechanical aptitude or engineering mindset
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable and team-focused approach
Comfortable working rotating 12-hour shifts
Progression & flexibility
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Production Technician, however candidates with strong transferable mechanical or manufacturing skills will also be considered depending on experience level.
