Professional Misconduct Solicitor
The Role:
We are looking for a 0–4 PQE Solicitor to join the Professional Regulation & Discipline department. The successful candidate will handle high-pressure cases, representing clients often out of hours, attending police stations, courts, and prisons. You will also be encouraged to engage with the wider legal community and participate in the growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients at police stations, often outside normal hours (weekdays, evenings, weekends).
Attend Magistrates’ and Crown Court hearings with clients.
Conduct prison visits, both in person and via video link, for clients on remand.
Analyse large volumes of evidence and prepare cases to tight deadlines.
Maintain excellent file standards with regular file reviews.
Contribute to the growth and success of the Professional Regulation & Discipline department.
Participate in networking and professional development within the legal community.
Skills & Experience:
0–4 PQE in criminal litigation or related areas.
Full Police Station Accreditation
Interest in obtaining Higher Rights of Audience.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
Commitment to teamwork and professional growth within the firm.
