Project Manager - Water/Utilities

We are working with a leading infrastructure contractor delivering long-term programmes within the UK water sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of clean water infrastructure projects across a regional framework.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in utilities, water, or civil infrastructure to take ownership of projects from planning through to delivery while working within a well-established framework environment.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of clean water network projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and budget expectations.
You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the planning and delivery of clean water infrastructure projects
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and framework partners
Attend site visits to review scopes and assess project requirements
Support the preparation of bids and project proposals alongside estimating teams
Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resources
Monitor on-site progress and address any delivery challenges
Coordinate subcontractors and internal delivery teams
Manage project completion, handover, and final account processes
What We’re Looking For
Experience delivering projects within the water, utilities, or civil infrastructure sectors
Strong understanding of construction project delivery
Experience working within NEC contract environments (NEC3 or NEC4 desirable)
Degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Construction / Project Management
Strong stakeholder and client management skills
Full UK driving licence
