Apply NowWe are seeking a skilled Punch Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components.
Responsibilities
* Setting a punch and shape sheet metal
* Fabricate parts by following engineering drawings and blueprints.
* Assemble components as per production requirements, ensuring quality standards are met.
* Use hand tools and equipment for grinding and finishing operations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience/Requirements
* Previous experience setting an CNC punch machine is essential
* Familiarity with tooling setups and adjustments for various press brake operations.
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Experience using hand tools for assembly and finishing tasks.
* Ability to grind materials as needed for quality assurance in final products.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
The Package
* Starting rate is between £15.54 - 17.10
* 12 week temp to perm contract
* Ability to learn and progress in other areas of the shop
