Purchase Ledger Clerk – Ellesmere Port – £26,000

An established and growing business based in Ellesmere Port is currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional looking to join a supportive and fast-paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently

* Matching, batching and coding invoices

* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries

* Preparing payment runs

* Maintaining accurate financial records

* Liaising with suppliers and internal departments

* Supporting the wider finance team with administrative duties

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

* Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills

* Ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems
