Apply NowWe are looking for a QA to join our client’s team in Greater Manchester on a temporary 6-month contract.
The main focus of this role will be generating and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9100 requirements. Candidates must have a good understanding of the FAIR process and be confident completing reports accurately and independently.
Key Responsibilities
*
Generate and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9100 requirements.
*
Understand the FAIR process and ensure all required information and documentation are accurate and complete.
*
Carry out final and in-process inspections of parts and assemblies when required.
*
Review technical and inspection data to ensure products meet quality standards.
*
Liaise with Production, Customer Services and Commercial teams to gather information and resolve any quality issues.
*
Complete supporting quality documentation and inspection reports.
Essential Requirements
*
Experience generating and completing FAIRs.
*
A good understanding of AS9100 requirements and the First Article Inspection process.
*
Experience working in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
*
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
*
Confident communicating with different departments.
Important Information
*
Temporary 6-month contract.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
*
A DBS check will be carried out by the client.
*
