QHSE Coordinator
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and wants to play a key role in keeping a manufacturing business compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible.
You will not be managing a team, but you will hold a senior and respected position within the business, supporting key operational and compliance activities across the site.
The QSHE Coordinator Role:
You will take ownership of QSHE systems and environmental compliance processes across the business, ensuring standards are maintained and continuously improved.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems alongside the H&S Manager
* Completing approximately 30 internal audits per year
* Supporting corrective actions and ensuring system improvements are implemented
* Managing environmental compliance and waste management processes
* Supporting the implementation and monitoring of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)
* Recording and monitoring water and energy usage
* Completing Legionella dip testing and maintaining accurate compliance records
* Conducting technical waste assessments using MDS
* Assessing recyclability, hazardous materials, and chemical breakdown of waste streams
* Supporting the Managing Director with compliance and environmental reporting
* Ensuring all documentation and records are accurate, structured, and audit ready
What We Are Looking For
* Experience working in QSHE, QHSE, Environmental or Compliance within manufacturing
* Experience working with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
* Experience with audits and compliance documentation
* Environmental or waste management knowledge is highly beneficial
* Confident working independently and supporting senior leadership
* A structured and methodical approach to work
