Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – Pre-K Room

£30,696 per annum
42.5 hours per week | 4 or 5 days per week

Are you a passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking to join a warm, supportive nursery where your wellbeing and development are genuinely valued?

We're recruiting for a fantastic nursery in Romford that is looking for a caring and enthusiastic practitioner to join their Pre-K Room, working with a small group of just 16 children. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Level 3 qualifications and ideally some experience in a Pre-K or preschool environment.

What you'll be doing:

* Providing high-quality care and education to children in the Pre-K room.

* Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.

* Supporting children's learning, development and school readiness.

* Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

* Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

What we're looking for:

* Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).

* Previous nursery experience, ideally within a Pre-K or Preschool room.

* A genuine passion for supporting children's development.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* A positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn.

Salary & Benefits:

* £30,696 per annum

* 42.5 hours per week over 4 or 5 days

* 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

* Additional 5 days off over Christmas

About the Nursery:

This welcoming nursery cares for up to 50 children each day across 5 well-equipped rooms, supported by a friendly team of 16 staff. The culture is genuinely supportive and close-knit, with a comfortable staff room where the team enjoy spending breaks together.

Professional development is encouraged, with access to:

* Local authority training courses

* In-house CPD

* Support towards further qualifications, including Level 3 and Level 5.

Interview Process:

* Informal face-to-face interview with the Nursery Manager.

* A 2-hour trial within the room, interacting with the children through activities such as story time and play.
