At TeacherActive, we’re on the hunt for compassionate, reliable general teacher to work in a secondary school in Middlesbrough. You’ll be working closely with young people who need a safe, stable environment. Encouraging a positive and engaging learning environment while managing and behaviour challenges within the classroom.
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced qualified teacher to join our team, focusing on secondary schools. You will play a vital role in supporting their academic progress and personal development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve success. Due to doing general cover across the school, there will be no planning and marking involved!
️ What You’ll Need:
✅ A calm, patient approach with a sense of humour
✅ General Cover or Subject specialism
✅ Willingness to learn and adapt in the face of challenges
✅ Experience managing challenging behaviour
✅ Team spirit, emotional resilience, and great communication
✅ Experience delivering subjects across the curriculum
✅ Tailor lessons to meet individual students needs and learning styles.
✅Experience planning and marking
