Academics are looking for qualified Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and support primary schools across Chester and the surrounding areas.
We're not just looking for someone to fill a space in the classroom. Our schools need confident, capable TAs who understand how to support learning, build positive relationships with pupils and work effectively alongside teachers.
Whether you're looking for a few days a week, regular supply or a potential longer-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
What could your day look like?
📚 Supporting lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
👥 Working with small groups or providing 1:1 support
🧩 Supporting pupils with additional needs and SEND
✏️ Helping with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
🤝 Working closely with teachers and other support staff
🌟 Helping pupils feel confident, included and ready to learn
We're looking for:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
Previous experience working in a primary school
A good understanding of the role of a TA
Confidence supporting a range of pupils and abilities
A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeingWhy Academics?
