My client is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves ensuring fabricated steelwork meets required quality standards through inspections, measurements, and checks against engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
*
Inspect steel fabrication work and sign off to specification
*
Check incoming and outgoing materials for quality and compliance
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings and verify measurements
*
Record inspection results and manage goods inwards and outwards documentation
*
Liaise with production and workshop teams to maintain quality standards
Requirements
*
Knowledge of steelwork and fabrication (essential)
*
Strong numerical and technical ability
*
Competence in MS Office
*
High attention to detail with good communication and organisational skills
Salary
💷 Salary dependent on experience
