We're speaking with Quantity Surveyors for upcoming commercial projects in London. You'll sit just below the commercial lead on a large scheme, getting real exposure to decision-making, not just paperwork.
What the role looks like:
You'll be heavily involved in the financial and contractual side of the project - managing costs, handling variations, supporting reporting, and making sure the job stays commercially on track. It's about protecting margin while keeping everything compliant and running smoothly.
Day-to-day:
Supporting the commercial lead on a large project
Managing valuations, variations, and cost reporting
Keeping a close eye on budgets and profitability
Administering contracts and ensuring compliance
Contributing to final accounts and commercial strategyWhat you need:
Experience as a QS on commercial projects
Solid understanding of contracts and cost control
Confidence to support and challenge where needed
