Apply NowWe are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded QS looking to develop their career within a dynamic and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the financial and contractual aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account
* Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
* Evaluate subcontractor tenders and manage procurement processes
* Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow
* Assess and manage variations and change control
* Conduct interim valuations and agree final accounts
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial and residential construction
* Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT and/or NEC)
* Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills
* Strong negotiation and communication abilities
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field)
