Quantity Surveyor
You will play a key role in project delivery — from initial estimates and tender preparation through to final accounts and project close-out.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial aspects of civil and rail infrastructure projects, including subcontractor procurement, valuations, and change management.
* Prepare and manage cost plans, bills of quantities, and financial forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with NEC3/NEC4 contract requirements and company procedures.
* Conduct monthly valuations and issue payment applications.
* Provide accurate and timely cost reporting, cash flow forecasts, and risk assessments.
* Support project managers in monitoring project budgets and identifying opportunities for value engineering.
* Negotiate and agree subcontract terms and final accounts.
* Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment across project teams.
Experience needed:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
* Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or rail projects.
* Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and commercial procedures.
* Experience with Network Rail or major infrastructure frameworks preferred.
