We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering business looking to invest in the right Radio Remote Controls Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that genuinely develops its people, with extensive product training provided and the chance to progress into a highly specialised engineering role.

What's on offer as a Radio Remote Controls Technician?

* Salary of £25,000 - £45,000, depending on experience

* ​​​​​​​26 days annual leave plus bank holidays

* Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm

* Extensive product training and ongoing technical development

We're looking for a technically minded Radio Remote Controls Technician who has experience working with industrial radio remote control systems and is keen to build a long-term career in a specialist engineering environment.

You don't need to know everything from day one. If you understand how industrial radio remote control systems operate, can fault-find, and have a solid technical foundation, our client will provide the product training needed to develop you into a fully qualified Radio Remote Controls Engineer.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining technical design, system testing, fault finding, workshop support and customer-focused engineering solutions.

What you'll be doing as a Radio Remote Controls Technician

* Designing, building, testing and commissioning industrial radio remote control systems.

* Diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and ensuring systems meet the highest quality and safety standards.

* Providing technical support for quotations, customer requirements and workshop activities.

* Working closely with colleagues to deliver projects on time while continually developing your technical knowledge.

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

* Experience with industrial radio remote control systems or similar electrical control equipment.

* Strong fault-finding skills and an electrical or electro-mechanical background.

* A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and excellent problem-solving abilities.

* The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative engineering team.
