Client Snapshot:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a specialist mental health supported living service delivering person-centred recovery support within a residential setting.

Vacancy Brief:

* The role is that of a Casual Recovery Worker

* Covering service requirements on a temporary basis (minimum 4 months)

* Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, 7 day a week shift rota

* Location: Fully on-site – Croydon / Greater London

* Working within a residential mental health setting supporting adult residents (18+)

* Small supported accommodation service supporting approximately 5 residents

* Focus on recovery, resettlement, independence and wellbeing

* Working collaboratively with internal teams and external mental health professionals

The Responsibilities:

* Manage a caseload of adults, creating and reviewing personalised recovery and treatment plans.

* Support residents to achieve personal recovery goals and improve mental wellbeing

* Promote independence through development of life skills including; budgeting & money management, tenancy sustainment, access to education, employment, and community services and daily living skills

* Deliver person-centred keywork sessions tailored to individual needs and aspirations

* Encourage choice, autonomy, and empowerment in recovery planning

The Essentials:

* Experience supporting adults with mental health needs or within supported housing, social care or recovery services

* Strong person-centred approach to support delivery

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to motivate, advocate and empower service users

* Enhanced DBS – Adult Workforce

Mandatory Training Requirements

Successful candidates must hold or be willing to update:

* Information Governance (IG) – 1-year expiry

* Infection Prevention & Control (IP&C) – 1-year expiry

* Safeguarding Adults & Children – Level 2 – 3-year expiry

* Basic Safeguarding Awareness – Level 1 – 3-year expiry

* Mental Capacity Act (MCA) – 3-year expiry

* Equality & Diversity in the Workplace
