Registered Manager – Children’s Residential
Location: Bolton
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (DOE) + Bonus

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home in Bolton, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, child-centred care and achieving positive outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities

* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and leadership of the home

* Ensure the service operates in line with Ofsted regulations and The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015

* Lead, develop, and manage the staff team, including recruitment, supervision, and performance management

* Ensure high standards of safeguarding and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times

* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies

* Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively

* Lead on Ofsted inspections, compliance, and continuous improvement of the service

* Develop and maintain positive relationships with external professionals, local authorities, and stakeholders

* Promote a positive, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children’s residential care

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children & Young People) or working towards

* Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks

* Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

* Experience managing Ofsted inspections and achieving positive outcomes

* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills

* Full UK driving licence
