Sales Call Handler
Overview:
* Sales call handler
* Office based in Cheadle
* Some working from home accepted
* Monday to Friday position
* Competitive commission structure
* Temp to perm position (for the right person)
Key Responsibilities:
* Make outbound calls to warm leads who have enquired about solar panel installation and EV charging
* Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their energy needs and motivations
* Clearly explain the benefits of solar energy
* Qualify leads and book appointments for consultations with our technical/sales specialists
* Handle objections professionally and confidently
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM system
* Consistently meet or exceed call and conversion targets
* Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to improve performance and processes
Key Skills & Experience:
* Excellent communication skills—clear, confident, and persuasive over the phone
* Strong listening ability with a customer-first approach
* Previous experience in outbound calling, telesales, or sales roles preferred
* Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive customer relationships
* Highly proactive with the confidence to take initiative
* Self-motivated and target-driven
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Basic IT skills and familiarity with CRM systems
