The Role

As Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of the sales process from initial enquiry through to project completion. This is a cradle-to-grave sales position offering a high level of autonomy, where you will be instrumental in driving new business while nurturing existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying and developing new business opportunities across target markets
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals
Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
Understanding customer requirements and delivering tailored solutions
Preparing and presenting quotations and proposals
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Contributing to sales strategy and business growth initiatives

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a commercially driven Sales Manager with a proven track record of delivering results within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.

Key requirements:

Previous experience in a Sales Manager or senior sales role
Proven ability to manage the full sales life-cycle independently
Experience selling capital equipment such as CNC machinery, laser cutting solutions or similar is highly advantageous
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
Full UK driving licence

The Package

£50,000 - £55,000 basic salary
Commission structure (negotiable)
Company car (negotiable)
