Apply NowBright Star Talent is recruiting Secondary Supply Teachers to provide day to day cover at a secondary school in Burton upon Trent. We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers specialising in English, Maths and Science.
You must be happy to accept day to day bookings, including early morning calls for cover that day, and be able to travel to the school at short notice.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain experience across different classrooms, we would love to hear from you.
Essential requirements: You must hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, and an enhanced DBS processed within the last 12 months.
The role:

Deliver engaging lessons using the work and resources provided.
*
Cover your specialist subject and be willing to provide general cover when required.
*
Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
*
Adapt your approach to support pupils with different learning needs.
*
Leave clear feedback for the class teacher following each booking.
We are looking for:

QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*
An enhanced DBS processed within the last 12 months.
*
Experience teaching secondary pupils and strong subject knowledge.
*
Confident classroom management and the ability to settle into new classes quickly.
*
A reliable, flexible approach and availability for day to day calls.
*
Ability to travel to Burton upon Trent at short notice.
