We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our team in Grays. You will work closely with lead teachers to support students across the curriculum, ensuring they remain engaged and achieve their learning objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality lessons across various subjects.
* Support students on a 1:1 or small-group basis to help them grasp key concepts.
* Uphold the school’s high expectations for behaviour and academic engagement.
* Help prepare classroom resources and maintain a focused learning environment.
* Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and any areas for improvement.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working with children or young people (highly desirable).
* Possess a proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to take initiative.
* Be a strong communicator who can build quick rapport with students.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or be willing to apply for one.
* Be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
