Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start | Monday–Friday

A welcoming primary school is looking for full-time SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and making a positive impact in a school environment.

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who can confidently support pupils with additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups, while working alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full potential.

Teaching Assistant – Requirements

To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you must have:

Experience working with SEN children (essential)

*

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant within a UK school

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

*

Full availability – Monday to Friday (5 days per week)

*

Ability to support learning, behaviour and emotional needs effectively

Teaching Assistant – Role Overview

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

*

Support emotional regulation, communication and social development

*

Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and SENCO

*

Help create a positive and safe learning environment
