Sen Teacher
You will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons and providing a supportive, structured environment that meets the diverse needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEN needs
* Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Support pupils with a variety of needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, complex needs)
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
* Implement behaviour management strategies and individual support plans
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Essential: Previous experience working within an SEN school setting
* Strong understanding of SEN needs and strategies to support them
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
