Cover People are working with a welcoming primary school in Eccles who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs and helping them access learning in a supportive and structured environment. The school is looking for someone patient, proactive and passionate about supporting children who need additional support.
The Role
Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Helping children access the curriculum and remain engaged in learning
Supporting pupils with communication, behaviour and emotional regulation
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Creating a calm, supportive and inclusive learning environment

Experience working with SEN pupils in a school or similar setting
Patient, caring and resilient approach
Confident supporting behaviour and emotional needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
