SEN Tutors - Leicester

SEN Tutors (Secondary/post-16)

We are seeking committed and experienced SEN Tutors to provide tailored support to young people across Leciester area. This is a highly rewarding role offering the opportunity to positively influence both the academic progress and emotional wellbeing of students with Special Educational Needs.

- Location: Leicester
- Position: SEN Tutor
- Hours: Approx. 2 Hours/week (potential for additional hours up to part or full-time)
- Rate: £25.00 - £35.00 per hour
- Contract: Ongoing

The successful candidates will:

* Deliver tailored tutoring sessions to students who may have a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, ASD and other profiles

* Ensure the pupils feel safe and secure, ensuring their well-being
Build positive and professional relationships with students and families

* Support students' confidence, emotional regulation, and engagement with learning

* Track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports to parents and or teachers.

Requirements

* UK recognised teaching qualification

* Demonstrable experience supporting children or young people with SEN

* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
