We are working with a welcoming and supportive combined school in Northampton who are seeking an experienced SENCO to join their team on a Temp to perm basis, starting after Easter or as soon as possible

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading SEND provision across the school, ensuring students receive high‑quality, inclusive support.
Key duties will include:
* Leading and managing the school’s SEND provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice
* Lead at team of 4+
* Primary and secondary needs
* Team teach experience would be desirable
* Autism experience
* Planning and mapping delivery. Identifying, assessing, and reviewing students with SEND
* Developing and maintaining EHCPs, support plans, and provision maps
* Liaising with parents, carers, external agencies, and professionals
* Supporting and advising teaching staff on effective SEND strategies
* Monitoring progress and outcomes for students with additional needs
* Ensuring statutory requirements and compliance are met
