Our client is seeking a SEND Teacher to plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to individual pupil needs, including those with SEND and trauma backgrounds
Use assessment data to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies
Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development through therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with policies and professional standards
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide effective support Requirements

Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour
Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and behaviour management in specialist settings
Ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective teaching and learning
Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining professional standards
Resilience, empathy, adaptability, and a passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
